Impostor - Jill Hathaway *Genre* YA Paranormal*Rating* 3.0*My Thoughts*Sylvia "Vee" Bell has been gifted or cursed with the ability to slide into another person experiencing life through his or her eyes. She's been sliding since she was 12 years old. Vee's life hasn't exactly been easy. 6 months ago, she slipped inside of Zane and watched as his mother tried to kill them both. As Vee is pondering that nugget of truth, apparently she's been losing consciousness and someone has been slipping inside her body and using it for their own desires. Vee wakes up one night from an apparent dream to find that she is actually in her father's car speeding down the highway. Vee has no recollection of what happened or how she ended up in the car in the first place. She later finds herself watching as an ex is pushed over the side of a cliff. You will be surprised to uncover the truth about who is responsible. Question for all you in the know...Was this only a two-part series or will there be another book? Just curious because this totally has the feeling of a last book in a series and I didn't want to get my hopes up that there will be another book. After what happened in this book, I can't say that there is another storyline that would make sense to me for Vee, Rollins, and Mattie. Perhaps we could have a book that was told by Mattie and what it's like from her perspective. Overall, I was a bit disappointed in Imposter in that the action wasn't as good as Slide as the so called mystery was obvious right from the start. There was too much angst on Vee's part as well. In the end, all things work out the right way, but in the meantime, Vee needed to take a bunch of chill pills and relax.Published March 26th 2013 by Balzer + Bray for HarperCollins
