It was actually filled with romance, mystery, excitement and nearly all characters put in harms way. It was a virtual blood bath and dark and obvious that this is the next to last book of the series. Vincent isn't going to let her characters off without giving them a true test of their mettle before giving them a HEA. I'm not surprised that she also went the sex route in this book. I guess I shouldn't have been suprised since Kaylee died and all last time out and now she has more flexibility? The big bads are back in full force, and boy do they play havoc on Kaylee and her core of friends. I can't wait to see who ends up standing when all is said and done.
