Quicksilver - R.J. Anderson *Genre* Science Fiction*Rating* 4.0*Full Review shortly*Unless I'm missing something obvious, which is probably the fact, I think this is the last book in the Ultraviolet series. Quicksilver switches POV's from Alison to Tori Beaugrand. Tori is such an interesting character that you just find yourself involved in the storyline, especially in you love science fiction. Ultraviolet pretty much centered around Alison's ability to cope with Synesthesia which I found completely fascinating. It was Alison who saved the day with her abilities and allowed them to return to earth. With Tori, you find yourself looking into a character who is far from normal. She's got some issues like the fact that Gene Systems Labs really wants to lure Tori to their labs so she can be a lab rat. Yeah, not something Tori or her family is going to just sit down and take. Fleeing to another city, and taking up fake names, Tori struggles with several factors including the impending arrival of Mathis on scene. (Unfortunately for me, Mathis never did make an appearance in Quicksilver which I was totally looking forward to.)Once again, Sebastian Faraday makes his appearance known, and not in a good way once all is said and done. Alison briefly appears at the end and that's pretty much all her involvement in this book.As a science fiction fan, I really liked this series and hope that there is a third novel in the near future.More later....*ARC recvd via Netgalley on 11/21/2012* Expected publication: May 2nd 2013 by Orchard Books (first published March 1st 2013)
